This Inspirado Projecto episode, “IMPROV”, focuses on the art of improvisation acting and how it can be utilized in all kinds of situations. This show marks the largest amount of guests we’ve ever fit into the KCHUNG StudiosPhil Donlon, Orion Barnes, Darin Toonder, Craig Spivek, Kevin Foster, Alec Smart join us for this momentous occasion. Also, Debbie was there as our lone audience member, as well as Official Documenteer of the photograph above! Thank you Debbie!

At the top of the show, we played a Ray Charles medley by the MADMAN Band from Chicago, talked about stunts and the Deadpool Musical, presented a mashup with a wedding officiant and a song by Diego Stocco, shared stories about our writing process, and played a fun promo for Alec Smart’s DFTA Bike-a-Thon! We also broadcasted LIVE through Periscope (this will most likely become a habit for each episode), which can be seen HERE!

FAR Bazaar Episode 1-29-2017

Inspirado Projecto broadcasted through KCHUNG’s Mobile Transmitter 1-29-2017 from FAR Bazaar’s 40th Anniversary, in Room FA55 of the Old Fine Arts Complex, at Cerritos College. Were you there in the room between 1pm-3pm?

This episode is co-hosted by CEC, Phil Donlon, Alec Smart, and Sherman Sitter (from “Don’t Feed The Animals”). Josh, Monica, Little Joshua and Gabriella Clendenin showed up to contribute their creativity!

Songs/spoken word is featured by: Elliott Smith, The Blues Brothers, Gladys Clendenin, David Lynch, Samantha Light, The Monkees, a mashup of Kurt Schwitters & Moondog, Japanese MEAT Clown, Andy Kaufman, Eagleman, Fugazi, PSY-CORP, Henry D. The Audio was recorded with a ZOOM H4n sitting on a table pointed at the audience, offering many more perspectives than what the at-home-viewers experienced.You can listen to it on Archive.org!

UPDATE! 2-4-2017 . . . Micky Dolenz from The Monkees was just tweeted about the fact that his song with Henry Nilsson, “Good Times“, was played twice during our broadcast at FAR Bazaar. He RETWEETED IT! How cool is it, that Inspirado Projecto is now on his radar?!?!?!

1-23-2017 Collage!

WOWzers, this episode “Collage”,  landed exactly on 123, which as many of you know, is the beginning of the Fibonacci Sequence! Our special guest, PQ Ribber, talked about his Overnightscape radio show, other various projects he’s collaborated on, and a homemade movie he was in with Andy Kaufman! We give notice to the anniversary of when my fellow Blues Brothers Orphan Jeff Cahill left us, in addition to a cosmic story involving the time when he booked IamAnOrphan to play at On the Rox (you can view the documentary about him and all the bands he helped out on the Sunset Strip, called “The Booker”, right HERE!).

We also ingest interesting Fun Facts by World-traveler Henry D. Horse, spoken word by poetess Samantha Light, a demo version of a song called “Use Me Darling” written by songwriter extraordinaire Lawrence August, a new one by Katmaz from his album “Nautical Things”, a sweet serenade by Bibi Borja and a dreamy soundscape by PQ Ribber. News about the upcoming point-and-click adventure game “Thimbleweed Park” is proclaimed (created by the same geniuses who brought us “Maniac Mansion,” and “Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders“), AND… music featured within the game, at a location called “Quickie Pal”, is revealed!

After spending Christmas with my Family, some of them were able to visit the KCHUNG Studios in Chinatown. Chicagoans: Terri, Jenny and Josh Clendenin discuss the differences of Winters between Chicago and Los Angeles and spin some of their favourite songs. Later, Monica contacts the secret Inspirado Projecto Hotline, showcasing Ella and Joshua’s exciting adventures with Santa Claus and science experiments. Another enlightening Fun Fact is shared by Henry D. Horse. As expected, mighty madness ensues!

Inspirado Projecto’s November 14th show, titled “Ourglass”, is an experimental circus of curious unknown surprises. Joined in the KCHUNG 1630AM Studio is “Sketch,” “Fresh Leftovers,” and “Medium Rare” improv groups alumn, actor/director: Phil Donlon. Also, astrologer/paranormal specialist Dori Black speaks about the unique properties of the Supermoon. Alec Smart and Sherman Sitter (the LCD Squirrel) from Don’t Feed The Animals talk about bicycle safety. We honour Leonard Cohen, Warren Zevon, play some music surprises, whilst featuring PSAs from our sponsors: MEAT Clown Industries and PSY-CORP. Henry D. Horse gives us another treasured “Fun Fact.” Surprise Mystery Guest calls in from the airport to discuss his standup comedy, and lots lots more! “Morph” 10/3/2016

Today our episode of Inspirado Projecto on KCHUNG1630AM, titled “Morph”, is coagulated around the mythical song and dance genius,  Andy Kaufman. The idea was to interview Jack Bristow through Skype and ask him how he discovered the rabbithole known as   AndyKaufmanLives.com    (operated by “Puzzlementary Productions” employees, players and investigators: Huey Williams, Claire Chanel aka ‘Photo Claire’, Enrique Presley, Julie Hastin-Ponciff, Craig, KING, Enrique Pellegrini,  Steve Rocco, Mr. E, Casper, Santa Christ, Aron Knarf, Father Creator, @TheAndyKaufman, @TonyClifton, Nathan McCoy, Glen Hardy, @AndyCoughman, Lynn, Sam Maddox and the ever elusive… Dianne), which led to his interview on a tv news station,  Huffington Post,  and the documentary about Andy Kaufman faking his death,  “Kaufman Lives.”.

Through various surprising synchronistic cosmicstances, performance artist extraordinaire of inanimate objects, Alexandra Tatarsky surprise-visited us in the KCHUNG Studios, along with writer/director/masterly improvisonator, Lindsay Stidham.

We played the last KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival commercial before its inaugural opening, October 6th-9th at the Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres in Corona, CA. KaPow IFF is partnered with Kevin Smith’s Charity, The Wayne Foundation..

The festival will also feature a 21 and older (2 drink minimum) show with RIO – The Ultimate Tribute to Duran Duran, playing in front of Stone Church Brewing, October 7th at 9:00pm. A fun Cosplay Contest happens on October 9th at 12:30pm. All 4 DAY SPECIAL: Attendees arriving to the box office at KaPowIFF dressed in costume and purchase 1 ticket for a block of films, you get to watch a 2nd block of films, FREE!

Unfortunately, the Management of Inspirado Projecto forgot to take in-studio pictures with Lindsay, Alexandra and our Captain of the KCHUNG Spaceship, Nicholas. Former Management for Inspirado Projecto has been relocated and replaced with competent NEW Management. Next update there will also be videos to peruse.

The good news is, the Former Management was able to snap some photos of Alexandra and CEC outside of the KCHUNG 1630AM Studios.

Inspirado Projecto – “Perceptions”

Inspirado Projecto’s recent episode “Perceptions,” happened 9-19-2016  in the KCHUNG 1630AM Chinatown Studio 1pm-2:30pm PST. Host CEC is joined by Elisa Jordan and Jeff Finn, two historians of Jim Morrison. Jordan tours 50-60 various Morrison/Doors-centric hangouts, speakeasies, touring locations, etc around Los Angeles, with her company LA Woman Tours and reveals some interesting stories. Finn discusses his Documystery, “Before The End,” about the early years of Jim Morrison, and the detective work he had to go through in order to obtain over 100 prime interviews with Morrison’s close associates.

Keep your ears peeled for a smashing version of a popular Doors song by Dizzy Black on drums and CEC on vox, more Henry D.
